KaLaung is a platform for readers and writers to discover, create, and share stories. By using our app, you agree to these terms.

1. Age Requirements

By downloading and using the app, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. KaLaung is rated Teen (13+) on app stores.

Adult Content (18+): KaLaung contains stories with a range of content ratings:

• Everyone: Suitable for all ages
• Teen (13+): May contain mild themes
• Mature (17+): May contain strong language, violence, or suggestive themes
• Adult (18+): May contain explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or other mature themes

By default, adult content (18+) is hidden for all users. To access adult content, you must:

• Explicitly enable "Show Adult Content" in Settings
• Confirm that you are 18 years of age or older
• Understand that such content may contain explicit material

You are responsible for choosing age-appropriate content and following your local laws regarding access to mature material.

2. Your Account

• Provide accurate information when signing up
• Keep your password secure
• You're responsible for all activity on your account
• One account per person
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised

3. Your Content and Rights

License you give us: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and share your content on our platform. This allows us to show your stories to other users and promote them.

Your responsibilities:

• You have the right to post the content
• Your content doesn't infringe on others' rights
• You're legally responsible for what you post

4. Content Rules

Mature Content Allowed: Stories may contain mature themes including romance, violence, and strong language. Authors must tag their content appropriately (e.g., "Mature," "18+") to warn readers.

Do NOT post content that:

• Infringes copyright or other intellectual property
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
• Sexually exploits or endangers minors (zero tolerance)
• Contains explicit sexual content involving minors
• Promotes illegal activities or extreme violence
• Contains spam or deceptive content
• Impersonates others or violates privacy rights

Content Rating Responsibility: Authors must accurately rate and tag their stories. Failure to properly label mature content may result in content removal or account suspension.

We may remove content that violates these rules without notice and may suspend or terminate your account.

5. What You Can't Do

• Access others' accounts without permission
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
• Reverse engineer or copy our app
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Collect user data without consent
• Interfere with the app's operation

6. Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property. If your work has been copied without permission, contact us at:

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime in Settings.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of user-generated content
• That the app will meet your needs

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Myanmar.
